Foki Beach
Picturesque beach next to Fiskardo
Foki is a very picturesque beach just before Fiskardo. It got its name from the presence of the Mediterranean seal Monachus – Monachus which finds shelter in the area. It has a dreamy scenery with cypress, pine and olive trees, under the shade of which visitors sit. It has white pebbles and clean, blue-green, crystal clear waters that attract a large number of visitors, of all ages, every year.
Countless caves and small bays are present along the path which goes by the right side of the beach. Exactly above the beach is a small tavern which serves fresh fish, while, further down, there are traditional taverns which serve delicious meat pie, a purely kefalonian dish.
