Pessada Beach
A small hidden beach next to Pessada port
Pessada is located 15 minutes away from Argostoli and, besides the port which connects to Zakynthos during the summer, there is also a lovely beach. This beach is separated by big rocks and is called “Ammos” on the one side and “Vrisi” on the other. The former got its name because there’s a narrow strand of sand, which is basically the beach, the latter because there are many running waters there during the winter.
Its waters are green-blue and very clean. These beaches aren’t affected whatsoever by the port. There is a parking space above the beach for visitors and stone steps which allow access to the beach.
