A unique relaxing beach of Erisos
If you are on your way to Fiskardo, don’t hesitate to stop at the beautiful beach of Aghia Ierusalim, which is just 5 kilometers before you reach it. It is a small, quiet and organized beach, situated in a small, sandy bay on the western side of Erissos. You can go there by following the detour at Magganos village and, from there, following the small, narrow roads of the picturesque villages, which lead to another city’s architecture.
The beach got its name from the small, deserted church found at its edge. Aghia Ierusalim is very quiet and even thought it doesn’t offer many amenities other than a small tavern, the crystal clear waters and the view of the sunset will mesmerize you. It also hosts seahorses due to the cleanliness of its water and its rich depth offers adventurous dives. Many also prefer this beach for camping, as its location in the mountain is one of a kind.
